The Wing IDE Trial is the fully functional product running on a time-limited license, with up to three 10-day trial periods. You can download:
- Wing IDE Professional
- Wing IDE Personal (low-cost product that omits some features)
- Wing IDE 101 (free basic IDE that omits many features)
Wing IDE runs on Windows, Linux, and OS X. If you don't already have Python installed on your system, or you are using Mac OS X, please refer to the installation prerequisites.
Install
Wing IDE is easy to install and can be removed completely if you decide against purchasing a license. See the installation instructions if you need detailed information.
Run Wing IDE
The first time Wing starts, you can obtain your trial license directly from the product. If you need help starting Wing, see Running the IDE for details.
Our library of How-Tos will help you configure Wing for many commonly used Python web and GUI development frameworks. Wing IDE includes special support for Django, Plone, matplotlib, wxPython, PyQt and many others.
